At Burve Hair, we want you to love your extensions. If something isn't right — whether it's the shade, the length, or you simply changed your mind — we'll make it right. Our return policy is designed to be straightforward, fair, and hassle-free.
30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your order for a full refund or exchange. No questions asked.
Conditions for a Full Refund
To be eligible for a full refund, your extensions must be:
- Unopened and in original packaging — sealed, untouched, and in the condition you received them
- Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered — not tried on, styled, cut, colored, or treated in any way
- With all tags and accessories included — original packaging, care cards, and any included items
Opened but Unused
If you've opened the packaging to inspect the shade but have not worn, washed, or altered the extensions in any way:
- You are still eligible for a full refund or exchange
- The extensions must be in brand-new condition — no signs of use, styling, or product application
- Please repackage them as neatly as possible
What Cannot Be Returned
For hygiene and quality reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Extensions that have been worn, applied, or tried on in the hair
- Extensions that have been washed, heat-styled, cut, colored, or chemically treated
- Extensions with missing or damaged packaging that cannot be resold as new
- Items purchased during a final sale or clearance event (marked at checkout)
- Gift cards
Exchanges
Need a different shade or product type? We're happy to help.
- Shade exchanges: If the color isn't quite right, email us and we'll help you find your perfect match. Return the original set and we'll ship the new shade at no additional cost.
- Product exchanges: Want to swap clip-ins for tape-ins, or try a different length? Same process — return the original and we'll send the replacement.
- Exchange items must meet the same return conditions above (unused, original condition).
- If the replacement item is a higher price, we'll charge the difference. If it's lower, we'll refund the difference.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Us
Email hello@burvehair.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you'd like to return or exchange
- The reason for the return (optional, but it helps us improve)
- If exchanging, the shade or product you'd like instead
We respond to all return requests within 24 hours on business days.
Step 2: Receive Your Return Label
Once your return is approved, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label. Simply print it and attach it to your package.
Step 3: Ship It Back
Pack your extensions securely in the original packaging (or a padded envelope/box) and drop them off at your nearest shipping location. We recommend keeping your tracking number until your refund is processed.
Step 4: Refund or Replacement
- Refunds: Processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return. Refunded to your original payment method.
- Exchanges: Your replacement ships within 1-2 business days of receiving your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
Received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item? We sincerely apologize — and we'll fix it immediately.
- Email hello@burvehair.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue
- We'll send a replacement right away at no cost to you — no need to return the damaged item
- If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, just let us know
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within the stated timeframe:
- Check your bank or credit card statement — some banks take 3-5 additional business days to post the refund
- Contact your bank or credit card company, as there may be processing time on their end
- If you've done both and still don't see it, email us at hello@burvehair.com and we'll look into it right away
International Returns
We accept returns from international customers under the same 30-day policy. Please note:
- Return shipping costs for international orders are the responsibility of the customer
- We are not responsible for customs fees, duties, or taxes on returned items
- Please mark the package as "Returned Merchandise" to avoid customs charges
- Refunds will be issued in the original currency of purchase
